No matter of the locomotives type, the converters feed the line train with
alternative voltage of 1500 V/50 Hz, taking the power from either a separately
DC traction generator, for DEL 2100 EGM, either from the main generator,
for classic 2100 HP diesel-electric locomotive and GM G16 locomotive.
The converters are designed to operate with and without insulation
transformer from the locomotive chassis.
